Gracie : If you are “a never was a Jehovah’s witness” as I am, and you are reading this and you think that it doesn’t matter that someone is joining a cult.

Ponder this question:

Your great grandchild answers the door and it’s a Jehovah’s witness that says “Would you like to study the Bible?”

And your great grandchild says, “yes.”

“How would that make you feel?”

Or, worse yet, your spouse, who has been home because they are sick, while you are working on the job, says to you “I have been studying with Jehovah’s witnesses and about to be baptized.”

It happens!

Studies are encouraged to keep the fact they are studying a secret.

So, yes, have the conversation with everybody, at least once, about religions/cults. Otherwise someone you love could land in a doomsday cult.

I wish and I always will wish, for the rest of my life, that I had even ONE conversation with my friend who is studying with the JW’s, BEFORE she told me she was studying.

Now I am making sure I have that one conversation with everybody. I don’t want anybody to have to go through what I am currently going through. It’s tough watching the cult-like traits take over my friend. And that’s basically what I want to say.
